Alaska TRX+ S3
Alaska TRX+ S3
The Alaska TRX boot features the new SieviSole-X metal-free nail penetration protection, which offers significantly better protection than previous metal-free nail penetration structures. The Primaloft® lining material retains heat from the foot inside the boot even when the material is compressed. Primaloft® keeps feet 38% warmer in dry conditions and twice as warm in wet conditions when compared to similar materials. Primaloft® is made from 90% recycled fibres from plastic bottles. The boot's 100% lamb's wool lining ensures superior insulation against the cold.

Aluminium
The toecap protects toes from falling objects and compression. Meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard: shock resistance is 200 J and resistance to compression 15000 N. The aluminium toecap is 50 % lighter than traditional steel toecaps.

Composite X
The product’s penetration resistance meets the requirements of standard EN ISO 20345:2011. Designed to meet the requirements of the new stricter standard EN 22568-4 (2019) which requires the penetration resistant midsole to be tested with a 3 mm nail with a square tip instead of the 4.5 mm nail required by the traditional standard. (e.g. construction industry).

Primaloft®
The footwear is equipped with Primaloft® thermal insulation made with 90 per cent recycled materials. Waterproof, breathable and extremely light, Primaloft® thermal insulation keeps your feet dry in any conditions.

Warm lining
The footwear is suitable for cold conditions. Depending on the model, the insulating material is lamb’s wool, artificial fur or Primaloft® insulation.

Double density PU/RU
The footwear sole consists of polyurethane and rubber. The PU/
rubber friction sole features excellent grip- and wear resistant
properties and being heat resistant up to 300 °C. The mid-layer
of the sole is of shock absorbing FlexStep® material.

Heat resistance
The footwear is suitable for use in hot conditions. Sievi’s nitrile rubber sole withstands temperatures up to 300 °C.

FlexStep®
Shock-absorption of the heel is a requirement of EN ISO 20345:2011 and EN ISO 20347:2012 standards: the shock absorption of the footwear must be at least 20 J. In all Sievi footwear the cushioning effect is guaranteed by the use of FlexStep® sole material, see FlexStep® for more information.

FlexStep®
The microporous FlexStep® sole material developed by Sievi maintains its excellent shock absorption and flexibility in freezing conditions. The structure of the FlexStep®flexible sole prevents strain on the feet and spine and absorbs shocks. The FlexStep® flexible sole is featured on all Sievi footwear.

Antistatic
Antistatic footwear releases in a controlled manner static electricity accumulated in the body. The resistance limits are 100 kΩ - 1000 MΩ.

ESD
Through its sole construction, ESD footwear provides a safe and controlled method of discharging the body’s static electricity. The resistance limits 100 kΩ - 35 MΩ for the Sievi ESD footwear are stricter than for antistatic footwear (IEC 61340-5-1). Wearing ESD footwear can help you avoid damage to sensitive electronic equipment.

Zipper
Models marked with this symbol have a useful zipper.

Thermo Alu
Sievi ALU insole features a heat-insulating aluminium layer. The aluminium foil of the insole reflects the cold out and the heat inward.

Water repellent
The upper material used in this footwear is water repellent. Its water resistance meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard.

Resistance to oil and many chemicals
The footwear sole resists oil and many chemicals. The oil resistance of Sievi footwear meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard.

Memory foam ankle protection
There is viscoelastic memory foam on the ankle part of the footwear that shapes according to the wearer’s foot, supports the ankle and absorbs shocks to it.
